Maybe it's my PS5 wireless controller on steam that is the issue, maybe it's something else. I don't think this is a fix for everyone, as clearly a lot of people are very high ranks and would notice if their inputs were affected this bad.

IDK what the hell is going on, but it's clearly working better for me. On epic, I was back to making turns my brain kept telling me to go for. On steam it's very hard to make a sharp turn with handbrake.turn radius feels WIDE. Same controller, same PC, same settings, different platform. I know some people like to gaslight and say it's placebo, but idk how you argue with those results.this happened on the same day as each other with the only difference being platform played on. On my epic version I won 13 out of 15 games and went into D2 for the first time ever in 1v1's. I lost 8 games in a row of 1v1's on steam at plat 2. its a fact, believe it or not, its not my problem.ītw high refresh monitors do not sacrifice anything, unless you buy it from lidlĪfter messing around with things more, it got me curious and I started playing my epic account more and I've realized I get wayyyy less input lag on the epic version. who talked about top players? just saying locking your fps to 60 gives you higher input lag. it's not going to magically put you in the top 1% but then again people desperately look for shortcuts. Honestly I never understood people who needed "fast" screens that sacrifice color volume, contrast and accuracy just so they can play a game at higher refreshrate. This week, I got an Xbox Series S and logged in and link my Xbox Live account to my Epic account. Mostly I needed to add back any DLC skins to the presets. The update partially reset my preset vehicles. I play regularly apex with friends on console, using a bluetooth connected ps4 controller with ds4windows and I barely notice any difference between wired and wireless. When the free-to-play update dropped, I was playing rocket league on Switch. without steam overlay, input and turning on nvidia latency to ultra.
