Youll find these differences in hidden costs are the case when comparing any manufactories of the same tier. The elixir manufactory requires more population, while the gems manufactory requires more culture. Superior: level 9-15īe sure to check the wiki page at all times as it has lots of useful information for you. Take a level 15 elven elixir manufactory for example and compare it with a level 15 elven gem manufactory.
Below i posted a list of all 9 manufactories for both races, including their research level. There is also a difference between elvish manufactories and human manufactories. you will research it in the tree and then upgrade your gem manufactories to level 15 after you have finished researching and activating. The 40 squares basically stays the same until very late in the game, by which time you will have long since worked out your own style. You will eventually want a minimum of 40 squares of factory space for each good. The different research levels are connected to the amount of space per goods manufactory, because of this certain manufactories can be upgraded to a higher level than other manufactories before you will need to research it further. Build up to 20 squares of factory space for each boosted good. There is no limit to the number of buildings you can build in the city, it can not be upgraded, it can be sold and rebuilt. There are 9 different goods in this game, and they all require a certain amount of space. To be able to build the Flute Maker you must unlock its technology in the Research Tree and spend the resources for its construction, it needs to be connected directly to a Precious Manufactory (Elixir, Magic Dust or Gems).
I will explain in this thread the reason behind it, and hope this will clear things up for players. Recently i came across some questions asked by players regarding the difference in level between manufactories before further research was needed.
